In an announcement posted to the game's Steam page, Square Enix says the Final Fantasy 13 team has been "working hard to improve your experience on Steam" and will add custom resolutions (720p, 1080p, etc.) and other unspecified graphics options in a December update. While modders quickly stepped in to fix Final Fantasy 13's dearth of graphics options, it now appears Square Enix is going to give the port some official visual enhancements. Square Enix released the Windows PC version of Final Fantasy 13 last month, but didn't give the role-playing game the treatment PC gamers now expect, especially for a title that's nearly five years old.
